My parents have a thing for installing laminate flooring. They just can’t seem to get enough of it. Recently, they came out to our place and helped us put down flooring. We were going to just do our living room – but they convinced us to do the entire area.

The apple stenciling was very well done.
The kitchen looked soooo much better without it.
I did discover that one can only stand up and sit down so many times in one day — I used up all the months quota that week…

We left them with projects that were not done since the flooring project that i figured would be 3 days took 5 because the first 2 did not count (yeah — ouch)
We were putting down threshholds etc and did not get to bed until 2 am (we had to get up at 5 to go to the airport).
It was looking really good.
Ryan and Aubrey are hard workers — nary a cross word in the five 12+ hour days we put in. Aubrey would come home from work, pick up a paintbrush and go at it. It was very satisfying to see it come together — Ryan worked very hard as well — I am proud of them.
