Tonight is the season premeire of Survivor season 11 - “Survivor Guatemala.” For most of the country, this premeire will happen at the scheduled time. For those of us lucky enough to be in Mountain Time, we have to watch the President’s address first.
Whenever President Bush is done talking to us from Louisiana, Survivor will start here. KUTV lists the approximate start time at 7:25 pm - but everyone else thinks that President Bush will talk for an hour.
Today’s competition will be to pick out alliances and the eventual winner based only on the pictures shown on CBS’s website. If you mouse over the headshots at the bottom, it will show their names. Read their bios if you must, but stick with your gut feeling that comes from the pictures.

Jim, Gary, maybe Lydia (she might be a control-freak, in which case she’s gone), and Margaret
Winner: Gary or maybe Judd (the fat boy gutsta win somfin)
I think that Morgan and Brandon might have a fling
I think that Danni will be a power-house in the competitions when it comes to the women. (She lists “favorite alcoholic drink: none” - interesting… wonder if she drinks? - she’s wearing immodest clothes in her bio shot, so she’s probably not LDS)
Rafe might be LDS - he’s got no alcoholic drink preference, and his favorite sports teams are Utah Jazz, Runnin’ Utes… Hmm… He’s an “Ivy League Student” in Rhode Island.
Dead giveaway: “Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, Rafe Judkins was raised in a huge mormon family that includes more than 60 first cousins.” His bio makes no mention of a mission - (except that he possibly served 7 months in Australia before coming home early?)
I think that Cindy is insecure and will talk to much, and can’t be trusted in an alliance.
I would like to point out how racist CBS is for not having a single black brother or sister in this season of Survivor.
Two Mystery survivors: I’m guessing Rob & Amber. I’m hoping someone else!

Lydia thinks that “Planters Peanuts” is a candy bar, and Jim’s favorite sports teams are “football, hockey” (I think he thought it said “team sports”)

I just found out that Rafe guy calls himself “a gay mormon” - according to a sneak-preview interview show on the TV Guide channel. If there is significant mention of this fact in the actual show, I will post an entire entry about it later.

In an updated prediction, I think that Rafe and Morgan will be tightly wound together. I also think I will through out Danni’s name for possible winner. I’ll stick with Gary and Danni - and not Judd.

It’s totally going to be a girl this time. I think either Brook or Danni.
I really don’t want to see Rob and Amber again. Maybe they’ll bring back some of the most disliked…like Jerry from season 2. But then again, that would stick Rob in the show.
