Two BYU girls are staging a sit-in protest by their lockers. It is unclear what exactly they are protesting, why they are protesting it, or when they will stop. They have been sitting by their locker for several days now, occasionaly joined by friends. They pass the time by sprawling themselves on the floor in the hallway doing homework, or by chit-chatting the time away. Once, an ingenious person removed a desk from a classroom and placed it in the middle of the hallway to join their protest.

This all takes place several lockers down from the one where I occasionaly drop off my books. I can only imagine the pain they are inflicting on themselves by sitting on such a hard surface for such a long time. Their dedication to their cause is apparent: every single time I go to my locker they are there - silently fighting for their cause.

I will keep you posted if anything violent starts to happen.
