If you are like me, you hate registering for a news website in Kansas just to read one stupid article. Of course, I already know that there are tons of people like me, because whenever I enter my ‘email address’ of “dork@aol.com” it is usually taken. So is “ihateyourwebsite@aol.com” and any variation of a completely fake email address at AOL.com. (Sure, you can switch the domain, but I like to keep them all at AOL.com)
A recent article in the Washington Post (which ironically requires you to occasionally log in) has a link to “http://www.bugmenot.com/” - a website that lists tons of bogus accounts for news websites. I highly encourage you to check this out - and never have to register for a dumb account again!
