In light of recent news, I encourage you all to determine how prepared you are for a zombie attack. (Note, there are some zombie images in this quiz that might make it rated PG) I scored in the 95th percentile on the test!
| Zombie Initiate You scored 69% Survival Rating! |
| You know the basics. You can probably even have an ok chance of making it out on your own should an outbreak occur. My advice would be to find a group with others of your skillset or better. You would make a solid contribution to any band you associate with. |

Should an outbreak occur, your gambling with your life. You may or may not survive, but chances are, your just going to end up waiting to be rescued. Getting yourself in with people who know what they are doing is highly reccomended.
apparently I’m hanging out with you Ryan… I can’t survive. =)

Those questions disturbingly specific

You are right, they are “disturbingly specific” - it made me really fear a Zombie attack! By the end of the survey I was upset that I don’t have a gun.
I’m thinking that my 69% survival rating came from a knowledge of the key principles of zombie-handling: Always go for the brain. The rest of it was instincts.
I wonder if a 95th percentile score on a Zombie Defense survey would be something a consulting firm would want to see on my resume, or in my cover letter? (Maybe I’ll try it out on one of them just for the heck of it… What are they going to do? Send me two rejection letters instead of just one?)

I had a 99% preparedness rating. My wife and I had no idea there were so many others who were preparing. We have had a Zombie contingency plan in place for years. We just recently saw Max Brooks book and were honestly a bit upset as we had planned on writing it and he beat us to it.
Fortunatly he did a fine job on it. He discussed some things we had overlooked but we also disagreed with him on some points so realize it is not doctrine, it is a good start though.
