Sick and tired of having to spread peanut butter on your sandwiches? No? Shoot - you were supposed to say “Yes!” Oh well, we’ll keep going - pretending you said “Yes” - because if you had said “yes” you would be excited to find out that you can now get peanut butter in slices.
According to a press release from the manufacturer:

No more double-dipping in the peanut butter jar or peanut butter covered utensils on the counter. Peanut butter just got “funner.” Finding an easy, portion-controlled way to eat peanut butter was something consumers didn’t know they needed until P.B. Slices™ came along.

I certainly was not aware that I needed any kind of easy portion-controlled way to consume peanut butter. Thankfully, I was alerted to this fact while I still have many years left to live. It’s not too late for me to change, and then - like the 9-year-old they quote in their press release, I too can eat peanut butter without making a mess in the car.

Of course, the major problem I see with this is that I mainly eat chunky peanut butter.

If you must, you can learn more at their official website.

  1. Due to the generosity of SuperTarget and their little free samples on Saturdays, I have tasted this invention that will simplify our lives so much. I have to say, it did taste like peanut butter, and I think the sample I tried even had a layer of jelly on it, but the texture was somewhat akin to fruit leather. I don’t think they could sell these in “creamy’ or “chunky” but rather “chewy” and “chokes children”.

  2. I was wondering how they were going to make it “less sticky.” I wonder why they didn’t just make “Peanut-Butter Roll-ups” for the kids.
