Yesterday was “black friday” - the day that retailers cut their prices extremely low and open their doors extremely early to attract fanatical holiday shoppers. I believe that some of the practices of retailers on this day are proof that they hate consumers.

  1. They open their doors at 5:00 am
  2. they offer steep sales on items with limited quantity
  3. they end their big sales about the same time normal human brings wake up

Why doesn’t one store buck the trend and open later. I am pretty sure they would have a bunch of people lined up outside still, but less people contemplating arson as a means of survival while waiting. I know that I for one would appreciate that.
