  1. Thanks bro! I just saved 15 bucks on a new logic board for my laptop… by the way… do you know how to put one of those in?

  2. Yeah, I think I might have a service manual around here somewhere. You will need to get a TORX-8 bit to take apart the powerbook, and I think there is another funny bit you need once you are inside it (it might also be TORX-8 though)

I replaced my logic board a while ago - and Lappy has been happy ever since. Although some guy with a very Asian sounding name never got the replacement screen I ordered to me. :( (The screen is fine - one set of my hinges are cracked)

Replacing the logic board on the laptop could take about a half hour or an hour for you. If you need help, I might be able to help you - but not for a couple of days (I have a few big tests coming up)

  3. No Prob… it prolly won’t get here for another days… five or so so no biggy… I’ll call ya when it does. Oh and the Creche festival… can’t go (despite desires to go) I have a Young Ambassador show that night at the MTC (of all places)
