An LDS missionary from Bountiful and a fellow missionary from Greeley, Colo., were shot Monday night while going door to door in Chesapeake, Va., police said.

The attacks happened just after 6 p.m., police said, when a man approached them, shot them and ran away. One of the victims ran to a nearby nursing home seeking help, police said. Both victims were taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

They haven’t found the shooter yet.

    That is so sad it is hard to believe. I hope both families are able to feel comfort from all the prayers that will be offered on their behalf.
