I had several tests that kept me from posting these images earlier. For Valentine’s day, I got Aubrey a Vermont Teddy Bear. The bear is “pregnant” – in that it has a small pillow that it wears under it’s dress. When the baby is born, you remove the pillow. Aubrey claims that human birthing is not as easy as that, but I don’t believe her. I think that somewhere she just has a kid velcroed to the inside of her skin.

Very cute. It has long fur!
Yeah, I guess it does. I got that color so that if we ever found the bears in a naked tussle we could tell whos was whos. (Of course, her eyes also say “Vermont Made” – and my bear was before that era of eyes)
Did you get the idea from the commercials on Spike TV?
No, I didn’t see any ads. I was planning on getting it for her for a while. When we were in Vermont on our honeymoon, we toured the factory. I didn’t get her one for Christmas, so I figured Valentine’s day was a good time to do it. My bear has been getting antsy being all alone… so he was happy too.
Is the idea of a pregnant teddy bear disturbing to anyone else? I understand if your teddy bear was getting antsy being alone, but you got him a teddy bear that was already knocked up? Way to go, Ryan.
