Ribbon trim and gigantic pockets aside, this a UKTOTW because I just can’t figure out whether this is a coat or a dress. The fact that it isn’t layered over anything else says, “dress”, but the loose fit and short length says, “coat”. It’s a mystery that may never be solved.

I like the pockets. It makes this dress/coat sensible. I would be warm, no purse would be needed ( the pockets) and I would be in style. I can’t wait to open one of these for my birthday =)

Shoot, I shouldn’t have posted this until after your birthday. Now I’ve ruined the surprise. It reminds me of something Kelly McGillis might have worn on Top Gun, if only her character had been a little more crafty.

Speaking of Top Gun - that limo you see at the top of my blog is actually in San Diego - off the side of that VERY HILL that they drive up to get to the beach… (And no - the beach isn’t uphill there… they just did it like that in the movie to be strange)

This looks like something I would want to wear over matching pajama bottoms…..comfy…but only for home wear.
