We’ve all had it happen - you’re at a party and you want a little something to nibble on, so you reach for something from the coffee table next to you, and to your horror when you bite into what you thought was a nice piece of pie you get a big mouthful of yarn instead. That’s right, you were tricked by knitted food. Apparantly many knitters reach a point in pursuit of their hobby when they tire of making things that people can wear, and their house is full of knit towels and dish cloths that they can use, so they think, “Why not make something that can’t be worn, or used, but that resembles food?” And that is how knitted food is born.
