Some artist group thought that what the world really needed was a gigantic knit stuffed bunny on the side of a mountain, and luckily enough for the Italians, they chose to execute their project over there last year. According to their press release:
After almost 5 years of knitting the rabbit found its final place in the italian alps (close to Cuneo). It waits there to be visited by you. You might even take your time or check back every now and then as the rabbit will wait for you 20 years from now on.
I remember a scarf that somebody lost this winter along the sidewalk that I would pass every day as I walked to work. It wasn’t looking very scarf-like by the end of the winter. I recommend those wanting to view this giant bunny not to put off their visit until 2025 because after 20 winters, I can only imagine how adorable this bunny will be.

I wonder how many homeless people make that giant bunny their bed each night… I know I would

I wonder if it is bigger than the “Y” or not.
I also wonder how many rodents make that bunny their home. It would make for a constant food source for bums.

Now that I’m back home on my own computer I added more pictures so you can get a better idea of the sheer size of the bunny. Pace, I think some bums had already thought of your idea of sleeping on the bunny. In the first picture you can just make out a person laying on its stomach. Though I can’t say that it would be too pleasant after a rainstorm.

I think they are lying, it’s really a dead alien that fell out of his space ship as it was flying away.

OH OH or it’s the abominable snow man’s stuffed animal! Bet it looks cool half covered in snow.

How long ago was this thing put there? Last year? Is it still really there? Mildew…yuck.

Yeah it used to be pink, now it’s green!

Yeah, I’m morbidly curious to see what it will actually look like in 20 years. I hadn’t even thought of mildew. I’ll put in on my To Google list for 2025, and let you all know.

That is a lot of yarn - and what on earth could they stuff it with?
From the size of those people standing near the ear, it looks like it is about the same size as the “Y”… that’s one big wabbit.

Ryan,
Did you fall off the face of the planet or what? Where have you been?
