Keyhole Canyon Canyoneer
Last weekend we went on a trip to Zion National Park. While there, we went through two canyons. We did Keyhole canyon at dusk and finished by headlamp, and the next day we did The Subway from the top.

The water level in The Subway is about six feet lower this year than it was last year at some of the narrower sections. Wide sections that were chest deep last year are ankle deep this year. I did bring the video camera in the Sony SPK-HCA case – but I haven’t had a chance to edit the video yet. I’ll post some footage when I get time.

The above image is of me in one of the wider parts of Keyhole canyon (the canyon is very narrow at parts). It’s been enhanced by a Photoshop master retoucher (…me).

I would think the folks that sell any of that gear would like it.

Not a bad idea… I’ll have to show you the original some time so you can see the kind of magic I worked :)

That is one awesome picture! Almost look drawn, it’s so perfect.

  4. Hey Ryan, I’m using this cool plugin for videos to open in a pop up window off the post… you should check it out if you don’t already have a way to present them. http://www.lynk.de/wordpress/videopop/ is the link to the plugin site.

  5. that was such a fun trip. We have yet to figure out who owes who money though. We really need a better system when it comes to paying for these trips.

I paid roughly $100 in gas… (I filled up before we left – when we were down there, and it was on E when we got back… so I had to fill it up again after I got it home)… So I don’t think I owe money to anyone :P
