Chase did that smiling thing while falling asleep too, and while eating. Now he smiles at other times, especially when I hold him in front of the mirror! It's so fun. He does it a lot - but his smiles don't last too long - maybe a second or two. Today he had a smile that I saw when he wasn't drifting asleep and wasn't pooping that lasted about a second... but I was holding him with both hands and wasn't about to drop him to document it.
