- Rhett is in bed. I’m upstairs on my phone chatting on irc via connectbot and irssi, and browsing the web. G1’s are nice

- Off to store to get some stuff, with rhett, who is now whining about “Home” as we pull out of the driveway #
- Carrying a 38-lb gyrating weight through the store builds strong arms. #
- Rhett has a lot of energy. Based on a rough calculation of his energy exertion vs calorie consumption, he should be crapping antimatter. #
- Dumping the spl on the G1 has proven much harder than it should be. (Even with root access). #
- Watching TV with marla. #
- Made my sister dunk her hand in cold water to test her waterproof glove. Letting her go to bed now. #
- Helped a guy in hong kong unbrick his G1, and got a clever idea on how to make an app that will crudely demonstrate multiple touches #

- I just tried that google voice search on an iphone… Man does it SUCK. It was 0 / 20 or so on basic queries… it is good for laughs tough #

- Just finished lunch. Marla just cut my hair. Dressing Elle up as a sock monkey. Getting back to work. #
- VDPAU is the most exciting news that has hit mythtv since the HD-PVR component-video capture device was released. #
- Wondering what the best way to create an android app that consumes a file from /dev and passes the info to be displayed on a regular basis. #
- Just created a proof-of-concept app that tracks both fingers with little circles. I’ll post video tomorrow. #

- Getting ready to watch the game… might take DVR the first half and sleep through it then watch it back without commercials sped up 50% #
- The prediction is for a low-scoring game… but BYU vs Utah will likely NOT be low scoring – these teams go nuts when they face each other. #
- Wondering how long it will be until the first trackback on the multitouch demo. (Not that I really care) #
- Max Hall has a lot of his balls getting caught… by both teams… ARGH! #
- Met father-in-law for dinner at rodizio, got groceries, killing time waiting for parents to fly in #
- It is only appropriate that I first see Engadget pick up the G1 multitouch story on my phone in an airport park&wait. #
