BYU is headed to the Las Vegas bowl on December 22nd. This is good news for all cougar fans that will be in the Vegas area. It might be good news for those of us around the country because it is going to be on ESPN. (There is still a good chance that ESPN will [...]

It feels wrong for our football team to travel to Laramie. I’ve driven through the town. They’ve got a Carl’s Junior - and a main street - but not much else going for them. The town is a pimple in the middle of the state that is the rear of the United States - [...]

BYU destroyed UNLV today. BYU scored more touchdowns after interceptions (3) than UNLV scored total (2). John beck threw for 267 yards and three touchdowns. A handful of running backs ran for 224 yards - giving BYU a total offense of 503 yards.
What was impressive was how Todd Watkins was actually catching the ball [...]

Despite the best efforts of the referee (see the picture here) - BYU shot down Air Force 62 to 41. The referee tried to help turn the tide in the game by liberally assigning penalties against BYU.
BYU was destroying Air Force until they rallied late and came back to score a few points. The secondary [...]

There will be 4 quarters of football. Each team will have three timeouts at the beginning of each half. The field will be lit with lights.
Expect to see a lot of stuff in the air from BYU. Expect a few [...]

For most of the game, it felt like “the same old cougars” were on the field. Because of KSL’s technical difficulties and a blocked PAT, we were behind in the game before it was even on my TV.
BYU held in there, and - with a couple lucky bounces of the football - was able [...]

Everybody knows when you are playing games against children or mentally handicapped kids you have to let them win. Unfortunately, players on the BYU football team share that attitude. BYU is too nice to the crappy teams. We fight hard against teams that are competitive, and then we roll over and play dead with the [...]

There is a funny article from a San Diego paper that has a quotation from the Aztec quarterback talking about how they think we care about them. (BYU has beaten them 10 consecutive times).
“Going (to Provo) last year was tough,” said Aztecs quarterback Kevin O’Connell, who started against the Cougars in a game in which [...]
